Training Philosophy

I bring a trauma-informed, health at every size, accessibility-aware, anti-diet, growth mindset to personal training sessions. As a lifelong dancer and athlete, I believe in emphasizing functional movement. What would you like to be able to do with your body? Let’s get you there.

As a gender fluid and (often) trans-masculine individual, I also understand the importance of having your body reflect your inner experience. I can help you navigate bodily changes from HRT and gender affirming surgeries, as well as construct workouts that increase your gender euphoria.

I will also include your mental health goals into training. Struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, concentration, body dysmorphia, or other mental health struggles? We will adapt your workouts to make progress in both your mental and physical health goals.

Our bodies do not distinguish between mental and physical health. So let’s embark on a journey of holistic health care together!

Services

Asynchronous:

Receive your workouts at the start of each week and do them whenever works best for you. You will send videos of certain exercises so I can provide feedback on your phone. Once a month, we’ll check in about goals and progress.

Virtual Sessions:

We will meet together on Zoom for live coaching and training 1-3 times a week. You also have the option of having additional asynchronous workouts throughout the week.

Equipment:

No equipment or gym access? No problem! I can tailor workouts to be exclusively bodyweight. If you do have a gym membership or home gym, workouts will be tailored for equipment that’s available (kettlebells, barbells, resistance bands, medicine balls, machines, etc).
